Michelle Dickman began working at Shelby County Victim Services in 2009 as a Licensed Therapist. Michelle is a graduate of Sidney High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a minor in Criminology, from Miami University in 2001. She obtained a Master of Science degree in Community Counseling from Wright State University in 2005 and has been a Licensed Counselor in the state of Ohio since 2006. 

Michelle provides counseling services to children, adolescents and adults who are crime victims in Shelby County or who reside in Shelby County. Michelle has a wide range of duties in Shelby County Victim Services, including, but not limited to:

  • Providing free therapeutic counseling to crime victims. 
  • Assisting and support victims in preparing for testifying in court during criminal cases. 
  • Providing 24-hour crisis response to a secured scene of a crime and/or the hospital emergency room. 
  • Assisting law enforcement with making death notifications to next of kin.
  • Attending child and adult forensic interviews.

 

Community & Family

Michelle sits on the Clear Creek Farm Board. Michelle and her husband, Greg, and their two children reside in Sidney.
